About us

video is a civil society organization, based in Podgorica, founded on December 5th, 2013. We are committed to alternative forms of public transport, cycling development, sustainable forms of development and healthy lifestyles at local, national and international level.

Our goals are:

  • Promotion of bicycles as alternative public transport and means of recreation and sport,
  • Raising awareness of citizens, especially drivers about the rights of cyclists and road safety,
  • Improving bicycle infrastructure and traffic culture in Podgorica and the whole country,
  • Promotion of healthy lifestyles, sustainable development and environmental protection,
  • Education of cyclists and keeping cyclists informed.


  • Critical Mass

    Critical Mass is a cycling event typically held on the last Friday or Saturday of every month. Its purpose is to promote city cycling and traffic safety. The event originated in 1992 in San Francisco, and to the present the event was being held in over 300 cities around the world. The first Critical Mass in Montenegro took place on June 29th, 2012 in Podgorica.

  • Celebration of Important Dates

    Every year celebrates April 22nd - Planet Earth Day and September 22nd - Car Free Day. We usually organize a mass bicycle rides throughout the country, which goal is to promote cycling and celebrate these days.

  • Cycling Infrastructure Advocacy

    Our organization participates in cycling infrastructure advocacy in Montenegro, with the decision makers and relevant institutions and organizations. During 2014 we were involved in activities of EuroVelo Corridor No8, cycling route which will pass through Montenegro.

  • Parkings in Podgorica

    During 2014 completed its first project - building of 18 parkings for bicycles in Podgorica, in cooperation with the Secretariat for Municipal Affairs and Transport and company Crnogorski Telekom.

  • Regional Cooperation is an active member of regional cycling initiative, which gathers cyclists from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia and Hungary. During September we organized regional campaign Bike to Work, which promoted the bicycle as an option for commuting to work.

  • Civic actions and
    other activities

    We are actively involved in promoting cycling activitists by organizing debates and events. Our members participate in community responsible activities. We participated in cleaning and reconstruction of park in Podgorica and we organize voluntarily blood donations on reglular basis.
